I have always loved Dune. I have the movie, and liked it as well. I have not
read anywhere near most on that list of yours. I will have to reread the first,
and go from there. The story is complex and engrossing, a book to get lost in,
the best kind of SciFi. Thanks for the reminder.

My other fav is the series on the war against the Chtorr by David Gerrold,
starting with A Matter for Men, absolutely chilling, an amazing read if you
haven't been there yet. May be out of print.

I'll give the Chtorr a look, Indigo. And maybe pick up Dune again, 40 years later. I take the NCLEX-RN in less than two weeks and will again have - a LIFE!

Thanks for reply. I know I can't be the only person on the board that has enjoyed Dune. Your post refreshed my spirits.

Hugs.
I read it in high school - I liked Science Fiction then but I was also dating a combo geeky smart guy/outstanding athlete. How rare is that? And he introduced me to that book.

I loved Ray Bradbury first.
