What book is on your nightstand right now?

Michael Crichton. YES!

The first chapters of Jurassic Park are great. The science part didn't make it into the movies.

And if you like medical science fiction you can't beat JAMES WHITE.He died a few years ago after writing the Sector General series among others.

I am reading "Heaven, close encounters of the God kind" by Jesse DePlante. I have to say I am hating it. It is written with an arogance I don't care for. But, when I started reading it I made a commitment to finish it so hopefully I'll be done inthe next day or two so I can start a good one. I finished reading "the 5 people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom and loved it.

I really enjoy the murder mystery series by Barbara Hambley about Dr. Benjamin January. They are set in New Orleans during the 1830's.

LOTs of historical details.

I know exactly what you mean. School work is always there like a monkey on your back. I went to a bookstore and bought five books as soon as I graduated, but had NCLEX over my head. You really can't totally relax until you get those results, then reading is truely a pleasure again.
