I have the new Patricia Cornwell on my coffee table. I have had it since the day it came out but am only about 100 pages in because I didn't have the time while in drug rehab to read it and it is DRIVING ME CRAZY NOT TO BE READING IT!!! I just can't stand an unread book in my house :chuckle
I have The Notebook in my bathroom. It's my tub reading. That was the bestest movie!! I am really enjoying the book too.
Now that I am out of rehab, I have given my fiance a list of books I NEED from McKays
I keep seen Tess Garritson's name on here...I want to try her out. I soooooo need some new authors to read. Should I start at the beginning with her books and read them all?

I just finished the new Patricia Cornwell, and am now reading a book a co-worker thought I would like, "Crocodile on the Sandbank" by Elizabeth Peters. I also listen to LOTS of audiobooks --have a long commute--and just finished the sixth book in the "Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency"; these are awesome books, with a fantastic reader. Highly recommend them. I'm getting ready to listen to "Skipping Christmas" again; listened to it last year, not really expecting much, but loved it. I'm going to listen to it every Christmas season.
Too many books, too little time.

You might want to try James Patterson, Ladies Murder club series, 1st to die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree? I have read and listened to all three. I also have read and/or listened to the entire Alex Cross series, Also if you have read any patterson you will love When the wind blows and the follow up Lake House and don't confuse this with Beach House also an excelent read but not about the same subject. When the wind Blows introduces a genetically altered group of kids that fly, enough said I loved it and then the follow up was Lake House. Beach House is very good too but about a Hampton Summer house and a murder with a law student as the main character. I like skipping Christmas too, Grisham, it was pretty funny I loved when he went against the entire neigborhood regarding Frosty you'll see. Painted house and The Last Juror are also good, I didn't care too much for The Summons. Just a warning

Yes I read the Ladies Murder Club series, really enjoyed them, was surprised by the third one--you probably know what I mean. I've also listened to several of the Alex Cross books and like them too. I didn't like the Summons very much either, nor the King of Torts; my favorite Grisham books are The Rainmaker and Testament. I also really like David Baldacci's books. There are so many good books out there--Michael Connelly, John Lescourt, just to name a few. I'll read those other Patterson books you mentioned. Happy Reading!

Cool thanks for the names I have read/listened to some Michael Connelly too but no John Lescourt or David Baldacci I will go check them online library now.
Wasn't too impressed with King of Tort's either but I listened to it whereas I read The Summons so it was more tolerable I guess, I have The Testament on my shelf and have not read it yet. What do you know aout The Bleachers, I have't looked into it yet?
