Ambulance

Here is a pic of my new ambulance, As you should be able to see, she is called Schapelle [Mercedes sister]
I have worked in old Fords for years and now I can STAND UP in the back in stead of being bent over. I love it!!!!

The negative must have gotten reversed. The steering wheel is on the wrong side. Good looking rig....

Ambulance Re: Ambulance
Well, we drive on the left which is right, and you drive on the right which is right. CRIKEY a bit confusing. Whatever, I love my new Ambulance. So far, she has not been put to work which is all good as people are all safe and well. YAY.
I am trying to put together a photo of my new truck and my old Canadian Ford to send you all but I'm not much good at posting photos. Take care best wishes.

Please tell us more!

I live and work in a big city as a critical care nurse.
I have transported chest pain patients to a hospital for a cardiac catheterization. This is a 15 to 30 minute ride.

The "sedan" is like a little critical care unit. One can transport two patients, the other four. If two I go with a driver and a technician. If four a driver and two RNs. We care for the patient(s) waiting while one is in the cath lab. Patients needing open heart surgery stay and the nurse cares for and transports the others post cath (and often PTCA) back to the original hospital.

Both the county system and an HMO do it this way.

So whay you do seems REALLY challenging. I'm very interested in learning more.

G'day bushie! Well aren't you just one spoiled bushwacker! lol

Got yourself a new fancy set of wheels there mate!

Just don't go doing doughnuts in the desert, ok?! lol

And as for the name you've chosen ......... the folks here wouldn't know who Schapelle is! You might need to explain that.

And as for the steering wheel being where it is ...... take NO notice of those weirdos who drive on the WRONG side of the road! LOL
I've driven on "their" side of the road last year in Hawaii, and I'm tellin ya ... it's WEIRD! LOL

Enjoy your new toy and let's hope you have minimal need to use it!

Great to see you joining in here and getting to know everyone!

PS: Is that wreck on the RHS of the ambo your weekend limo??!! LOL

Hey, Grace. The wreck is an old car turned into a pigeon coop!!!!
I'm pretty proud of my new truck---she has more bling than Paris Hilton less the little dog.
State of the art comms including 4 phones & 3 radios, all needed when your travelling critical.
I am really enjoying talking to everyone. Life is rather lonely here---only 6 people in this wee village~none of them medical.
Bye for now
ps are you in oz or usa?
