I've been thinking about this thread b/c I do remember my infant seats flipping too but it was a manual belt and all I had to do was losen it a bit. We should be reporting this to the manufacturers too b/c they are the ones that need to fix the problem. The problem is the shape of the seat and the fact that it is slick plastic, at least mine was. It had a handle to but that didn't do anything to stop it from flipping. Luckily, I was always right there and able to stop it before my baby was hurt. The design is flawed on these type safety seats and needs to be changed.
