Thanks once again Chris. I think this makes like my 4th year or something. I've already been searching through the boxed Christmas cards in anticipation!

You are so welcome!

It is a bit of work, but I really do enjoy it.

You are so welcome..... And thank you for replying to the thread. I cannot seem to get a "generalized" stickie, but this isn't just for premium members, this is for everyone, anywhere.

Replying to the thread gets it back to the list of open threads, not just the break room.....

The more the merrier!

Off topic, but it reminded me of this thread. Today a radio station devoted the entire day to Christmas music.

In October? I've already looked at cards and think I might make my own this year. I did that once, lots of work but I love how they turn out.

What a neat way to drive the postman crazy!! I would love to do this as I don't have much family left and I have not been much into Christmas the past few years. Maybe it will help.

Thanks for doing this Chris.

I'm sort of in the same boat as TC.

My mom and I used to do all the holiday stuff for our family together. Now, since she died last year, I've taken over the whole ordeal myself. Since the one year anniversary of her death is a few weeks before Christmas, I'm not looking forward to this season like I used to.

Anyway, I definitely want to participate. Maybe it will get me back into the proper holiday spirit. (Jolly and all that.) I'll send you my information in late October, if that's okay.

Thanks for organizing this for us, Chris! :icon_hug:

Even if you are a premium member, please email me (preferred) or you can PM me (this works much better now that the PM announcement has the body of the PM in it! Thanks, Brian!).

Anyone who is an allnurses member can join up. You don't even have to have posted anything here! You don't have to be a particularly active member! We invite and include ANYONE here to join us.

One of the things I like best about allnurses is that, for me, it eases the isolation that is so much a part of our daily lives. And doing the Christmas card thing not only lets me feel more connected to all of you, but it is a large part of my "celebrating."

Talk about your warm fuzzies!

I can't tell you how much this meant to me last year - I was living 300 miles away from home and getting cards from allnurses pals from around the world just made my season so so special - and to see the effort that some people go to makes it very special indeed - and to me the effort of sending strangers a card and posting it means a lot - to those of you who make the cards and even add little things too - wow!

The friendship and little touches like this are what makes allnurses a real community.

And a huge thanks to Chris for organising this - you're a star!
