Even though it isn't even Halloween it is nice to start getting the list early. I love making the cards and deciding who will get what card. I have a schnauzer group (about 20 of them and I like sending them all cards that have puppies on them and then I try to take the card I make and kind of go by what I think they would like and send them their card. If someone is a jokester I have some of those also. I think that I am also going to make some fancy cards and send pictures of my two little kids....Maxie and Maggie (my schnauzers would love to be on the front of some of my cards....I need to get some Christmas hats or scarfs and put on them and try to get some pictures taken of them.....they will be really cute I am sure.

Can't wait to start getting cards together for our great little group....it is nice to see Cheerful back on line and working again. She has been in my prayers for months..It is so good to get back with this group again.

HI

I too am all ready excited about this list & the cards.
I've been making my own the last few years, & I just finished some halloween cards & was playing around with some Christmas ideas.

What Fun it will be again this year!
I don't think my Barney would allow me to put people clothes on him---maybe I should try!!

Have fun, you all.
Cheer--so good to see you here!!

Hi, All!

Just a reminder, this is open to EVERYBODY, not just premium members... We want to send you a card, so please do email me with the appropriate info--see the first post in this thread--and let's get things rolling!

I sent out the first list over the weekend, and I did hear back from a couple of people with corrections to my typing <blush>, so wait for the next update before addressing your cards....

Each update replaces the last one, so if you accidentally delete yours, just wait, there will be another one along in a bit.

Everybody have a great day!

I sent you a pm, Chris! Count me in....going shopping for my Christmas cards now! (online, of course!)

edit: Is there any way I can get a ballpark number of how many are on the list so I know how many (ish?) cards to order?

I posted on the other thread, but will repost here also.
Firstly, thanks to Chris for doing such a wonderful job once again.
I participated in years past, and it was simply wonderful!
Sadly, this year I'm electing not to participate.
I loathe to leave anyone out, I KNOW, we don't have to send a card to EVERYONE! But, I do like to acknowledge as many as possible! It's christmas afterall!
With postage from Australia at about AU$1.95 per card, it just gets to be TOO expensive.
Sooo ..... I'll just wish everyone a HAPPY CHRISTMAS from the heart across the ocean this year!

No real way to know.

My first year there were about 125. Last year I think we didn't quite make it to 100.

Right now we seem to be sitting at 25, but it is early.....

I just looked--it is high! About $1.20 per "card" (I'm guessing what we would call a postcard in the US) and $1.85 per "letter" (again guessing, anything in an envelope?).

I hate it that you cannot participate, but certainly understand. We did used to have a lot of international participation, but now, not so much.

I don't have an answer.

I have just sent out the updated list.

My goal is to send one out each Sunday--assuming that there are more signing up and more corrections. Lots of enthusiasm here at my laptop, accuracy, ummmm, not so much this year.

If you don't receive a list and you signed up, please email me and let me know.

If you do receive a list and your info isn't on there, or it isn't right, please email me and let me know.

I think that covers the options.

Ya'll all have a great week!
