the local weather report says the high today will be 97F, and the thermometer on the front patio (which, btw, has been in the shade for about an hour now) reads 108F?

Geez, I think it's time for a swim!

WOW! It's pretty hot up here in NorCal also (90 degrees)...but not as hot as you down in SoCal. I have the air conditioner cranked and just took a nice cold shower to help cool down a bit.

It's FREEZING here in Louisville, although sunny. SO sad, the forecast says thunderstorms for Derby....

NY was nice today. A little cooler than I'd have liked...but I can't complain after the frigid winter and non stop snow we had. Sunshiney sweater weather is fine by me!

as usual, we were in the lovely 80's today, with a nice warm breeze.

Jnette, my mom was freezing her patooty off about 2 hours down I-81 from you, too. She is so envious of me!

Anyway, to all of you in freezing weather land, hope my avatar brings some joy. That was 2 weeks ago at the beach here. Jemb, I'll meet ya at the pool!! :chuckle:

In the hundreds here in Southern Cal, and I have no desire to go outside unless I absolutely have to. This heat is suffocating, and not a drop of humidity anywhere. Just dry dry dry dry dry heat!

The good news is a COOL FRONT is due to come our way over the next few days, and I couldn't be happier! :hatparty:
