And speaking of the Thundercats, here are some "outtakes" from the show. It's called Blundercats and make sure the kiddies aren't around because there are a few swears:

Are you trying to tell me that people don't tape from the radio to their boombox anymore? When did I miss that it wasn't cool anymore?!?! LOL!

Just kidding...I was born in 1980 so I'm a bit young for some of it, but I do remember a lot of this list...and for those of you my age, NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK! That was late 80s early 90s I know, but they were way cool...

And yes, the Sesame Street song...still sing that one. Nothing like the good old shows. These new ones just don't cut it...not near as entertaining. I loved the old Sesame Street. What's up with Sesame Park? Maybe that one's just in Canada, but it's awful...

Class of '87 here.

I despised Scrappy Doo!

I was baffled when Saturday morning cartoons went away.

I had a huge crush on Rick Springfield.

I owned leg warmers.

I was a master on the Atari. Pacman anyone?

Punishment meant not being to go outside to play.

I remember when MTV was still good. I also remember Friday Night Videos and Video Jukebox on HBO, we couldn't get enough of music videos. It's a shame what they call a music video nowadays.

Space Invaders contests at school
COMPUTERS(!) at school
Researching papers with encyclopedia sets, always missing the one book you needed
When the local networks had one hour video shows inprime time
eraseable pens were brand new
friendship pins on our sneakers (safety pins with beads)
bathroom graffitti that would lead to fistfights
early morning gym class without showers (that might have just been my school)
procrastinating with multilayered fingernail polish, and then peeling it off during the exam (grossed out the teacher)

Wow. I thought I was a child of the 90's, but I suppose not! I remember when it would be a compliment to be told that my hair was so BIG! I had the wings coming off the sides of my head and the big 3 inch cloud that I called bangs. Not to mention tiny perm rods when perming my hair every six months. I also wore the tapered jeans with the bows above the zippers at the foot of the leg. How about stuffing the end of your jeans into your socks that matched your shirt, of course. What else.................Poison rocked, and makeup on guys with big teased hair was Soooo sexy. MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, all the 80's movies. And I still watch Dirty Dancing because it is still a good movie.
