Just popping in with a quick G'day from me . Nothing much to report the past few days and I didn't want to continue to whine about the heatwave!
Today's cooler and hopefully we've seen the last of the heat for awhile. It's been a shocker! Fires broke out in country regions, unfortunately. They're under control though, thankfully.
It's saturday afternoon here and I'm spending the weekend quietly. Will be attending a function tomorrow afternoon which should be nice. DD visited for tea last night and that was nice to spend some time together.
and that's about "it" for me!
Oh! ............... BTW .... Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Joe!!!! I had wished you a happy birthday in advance the other day just in case I missed it! LOL

For being insubordinate during the morning managers meeting regarding a patient I had not sent out. (family and NP concurred with me and we were continuing to monitor...) Admin wants them to die in the hospital. And when I tried to explain, she took it as insubordination! A hell of a thing, after over 2 years as MDS, on-call, unit manager etc........Oh well....... Hope there is something to apply for in the Sunday paper. We ( mama and I) are only 2 or 3 weeks from being homeless. Prayers are appreciated!

I think sometimes people are so inadequate in themselves they take it out on others. Huuuuuge hugs and best wishes from here in the desert. I am sure we all wish we were closer to give you real hugs------the best therapy ever
