Good Morning March 6, 2005

by akcarmean Premium Member

Good Morning All,

Couldn't sleep did to much today and my back is telling me so. So thought I'd get up catch up on some reading here and then start my research for my 5 papers for this week.

How about some breakfast, eggs(any way), pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, ham, cereal, oatmeal, maypo, donuts, bagels, toast, jams (all kinds), fresh fruit ( you pick), milk, soda and diet, coffee and decaf, juices of all kinds, hot chocolate.

Enjoy your day!!!

SYL
Angie

Morning everyone,

Angie, what a spread. Can't stop for breakfast though.

At work tonight, two vents and bipap going. Good group of patient's though. The night is going rather smoothly, no major emergencies or crisis.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Good morning! I'm at work too! Started out with only five patients which was very unusual. Have "only" 7 now, so I in theory could get an admission. But I'm doing o.k.

Angie, sorry your back is hurting.

Hi Nurseboy, glad you're night is going well, but let's not jinx ourselves.

Good morning.

Angie, I'll skip the food. Sorry to hear about your back. Isn't there something that can be done for you? Too early. Itchy and Scratchy were very busy last noc, so I'm going back to bed when I finish here. Back injury is the main injury in the nursing field.

Nurseboy1 Glad you had a good shift.

Tweety, sounds like you're having a routine shift. Hope it stays that way.

Madwife2002, Happy Mothers Day there in the UK. Our Mothers Day arrives in May.

Ciao

Good Morning Everyone - I'm at work too. One more patient than yesterday so that makes 7. Me, a very nice LVN (traveler) and CNA. Using lots of morphine again . ..

Went to bed at 5:30 p.m. and woke at 8:30 p.m for some reason and could not go back to sleep - started reading a book with real life ems stories . . yikes - talk about bad dream material.

I'd like fried red potatoes, scrambled eggs and tabasco . . .with a latte please.

My 20 year old was not home when I left at 2:30 a.m. :angryfire

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day to the UK "mums".

Steph, I don't know how you manage to work on so little sleep all the time. Hope it goes well.

I'm going to work a bit on my chemistry exam for just a few minutes before I get tired. I've got to finish it up tomorrow after work. I'll be glad when I work more decent hours myself.

Take care! Woot!

Good morning, yall!

I can't imagine having 5 patients, much less 7 - but I guess that's why I'm still a naive, starry-eyed student? :chuckle

AK - You have 12 papers due? And here I am worried about finishing my one research paper (due tomorrow) and answering four discussion questions for my cultural course!

I'm not much of a breakfast person (not a morning person at all, really) - but I'll take some coffee!

Got my tax refund and I think I want to buy a laptop - I can type so much faster than I can write that I think that'd be easier for school (since I always retype them anyway, I'd be saving myself a step). Not sure if I want to drag the two kids out and drive 60 miles or so to pick it up, though. Feeling lazy today, and waiting for the hubby to get back from a trip to TN.
