Steph - it was meant as a Translator.
When I say this sentence, "----------------" it means this: "------------------------"

Having multiple indoor cats requires multiple cat litter boxes.
May not be preferable but that's the way it is.

Today is errand day, you know the drill.

A friend is singing with a select group, at an Evensong tonight.
Will be her first program with this group (a capella!), so I thought I'd go hear them.

Dh and I may go visit some friends this afternoon -- they're in their 80's and we haven't seen them in awhile.
They used to have barn parties and lots of music at them (their whole family is VERY talented!).
Nice to still be able to chat and visit, don't need a party.

Should be in the 80's again today.

Sabby, glad your soup turned out so good!
So nice on a cold, blustery day to have good-smelling soup simmering on the stove, and then to enjoy eating it later!

A belated WELCOME to Meri!
Glad you're doing better!
Now, don't be a stranger once you're well and running around again!

Gotta git, see y'all later!

it's mild here today as well.
i'm roasting a chicken w/quartered potatoes and baby carrots.
meanwhile, my fil who is here, c/o being frigid, so windows are shut, ceiling fans off and i'm sweating bullets here.
oh my gosh, i despise being hot.

beds are changed, bathrooms scrubbed, yard currently dog poop-free, litter box cleaned and refilled, and dad now sitting right next to me in his wc.
i think i'll cream his legs- he loves that.

good day, all.

I'll bet he enjoys that!
Does he like his feet washed/creamed too?

The chicken meal smells wonderful!

Had to take a few detours while my phone charged (forgot to charge it last nite ), so I trimmed the front plants and vacuumed youngest's room.

NOW, however, I'm off to the store.

oh yes!

his legs have always pained him...
last week we gave him a new pr of sneakers (they have a 1000 mile walk guarantee) in hopes of him walking better.
they don't ambulate him at the ltc facility where he lives.
so i try to walk him when he's here...which of course he resists.
but i make sure he gets his es tylenol, and make him walk.

instead of giving back massages to my pts, i love to give them a nice foot massage.
give them a quick wash then cream and massage.

i just went to check on my chicken and just took a piece of skin.
do you know what fell out??????
DH HAD SNUCK (is that a word?) SLICES OF SALAMI AND TUCKED THEM UNDER THE SKIN!!!!
i'm trying to cook wholesome and healthy, and this is what he does.
(oh my gosh, it IS good though)

di, i do my vacuuming qod, and i did mine yesterday.
i love vacuuming...
and doing laundry- esp folding.

Ok ok you cat lovers . . .I'll quit with the litter box comments.

I'm making chicken tacos with homemade refried beans, homemade salsa, and homemade corn tortillas (although those are made by someone else).

Dh, son and son's friend just took off to get firewood.

I've been to one patient's home and back - it is quite warm here today

Cute grandkids Marla!

I have some photos but haven't put them in the computer yet . . .one is of the darn cat up on the fridge . . . This morning she has been up on the counters 4 times! I'm not sure what is going on with her - usually she is very good about not doing this when people are in the house (who knows what she does when we are gone). I made "the boys" some ham and cheese sandwiches, walked into the living room with them, turned around and there she was, sniffing the ham. Out the door she went.

It isn't like she isn't being fed.

Ok - now that the house is quiet . . . .I may go take a little tiny nap.
