good(?) Tuesday morning... Feb. 13

by clemmm78 Platinum Member

I'm hesitant to say good morning.
I'm doing one of two nights and it's very, very busy. full census (9 pts), 7 syringe drivers, one patient has two. Lots of meds, lots of care. OH well, that's what we're here for, right?
Taking a quick break before the next crisis looms. Our potential bleeder is *still* here. I cannot believe the resilience of hte human body sometimes.

We're supposed to be getting a major blizzard tonight into Wed. morning, so we'll see if that really happens. Can't put much stock in weather forecasting these days.

Hope all is well. I'm off to get a bit to eat before all heck breaks loose again.

Good morning! It's nearly 0200 in the central standard time zone.

I'm going to shower and go to sleep very soon. Then I intend to awaken later this morning, attend classes at my local CC, and do some reading.

Have a good night, and try to not work too hard. Also, stay safe in the blizzard.

Am looking forward to Thurs when the high is not expected to go into double digits.17 to spring break. Trying to figure out what to wear. Have no idea what's the normal wear in So California. Are weird things happening to this bb or is it just me? I have nothing at the top so I had to go through my old posts to get a link the the breakroom. Then I tried to edit my previous post and I got a bunch of jumbled letters.Brian must be tweaking something.

Last week I purchased my plane ticket to Los Angeles for spring break. I haven't been back to my home state of California since late 2005, so I will go home for spring break and spend a few days with my parents before returning to DFW.

Mornin' y'all!

Lecture exam #1 today! Scares me because I know I haven't had enough time to study. 2nd semester slaps you in the face first thing! :stone

Y'all have a great day!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone has a nice today!

Someone tell me what a "syringe driver", as mentioned in Marijke's post above, is.
