Keeping things organized and running smoothly at home...

by gauge14iv Premium Member

What do other folks do the stay on top of house cleaning, bill paying, kids, healthy diet & exercise etc while working or going to school?

A friend of mine uses www.flylady.com but I found that too overwhelming for me.

www.supersuppers.com is a great way to keep up with meals - but we gained weight on it! LOL

Online bill pay is a must in my book ...

what else?

I made a list of everything that needs cleaned in the house (dusting, mopping, etc.). I used Microsoft office and made a calendar of what needs done on what day. Each item gets crossed off as it gets done. Either one of us can look at the sheet, then do something on that list.

For those items that can't be paid online, i took a tiny toolbox and made it the Bill Box. It contains, pens, stamps, envelopes, return address labels, etc, all the essentials for paying bills.
