A little wisdom please?

A company came in and chopped down about 7 pine trees in our yard. They only took the wood they wanted and left us with a bunch of huge logs and branches. Who could we call to remove the logs? And about how much would you estimate the cost to be? Anyone who could do it for free? Or any ideas? It's Pine so it's probably not suitable to burn. So anxious about the whole thing..

Why were they chopped down? If it was an electric utility to make clearance for power lines they should be responsible for cleaning up the mess. As to the cost to clean it up, so much depends on where you are. In some locations you could find someone to cut up the logs for free just for the firewood.

If you were in my area you could just put a sign that said 'free wood if you can haul it' and it would likely be gone in no time.

Failing that, methinks a good stump removal company might be able to help you. Good luck....

Pine is good for kindling . . . Makes a nice fire, fast.

I'm with the others . .. if you lived closer, I'd come over and get it.
