That's a rhetorical question, right? I always get in trouble when I answer those........ I'd better just let it slide by.

Happy Halloween! My first time in one of these threads, I think...

I bet all of you are having a more exciting Halloween than I am: I'm still under house arrest as I recover from H1N1--the virus beat the vaccine to my immune system. So I'm supposed to get rest and avoid crowds...which is all right as my son didn't want to go trick-or-treating anyway. Of course, it's 80 degrees out here and gorgeous.

We got a pizza, gorged on ice cream, watched Thomas the Tank Engine endlessly, and he passed out. I now get to knit and watch Dracula.

I'm supposed to be able to go back to work this week, and I'm so stir-crazy from being home for a week that I can't wait to go back to work with the other crazy people...oh yeah, and the patients too

BAck from the 2009 "trick and treat", well... is like Diane said... very few people on the streets.... but you know and why... but what is wonderfull to know is that we went to a church, I don't know what type was... but... PERFECT ULTRA PERFECT organization .... I was so curios how was possible to deal with so many people around and on a so complex event and huge location...so I mess a little around, loooool, like always, to talk with the planners of the event.

Belive me...if in this life is a salvation from somenthing, this will come from LOVE and good faith. I saw people from different churches with diferent belivennes and different orientations and they worked and loved LIKE ONE. A huge big area where people was togheter, ate togheter, played togheter, happy togheter and you didn't feel ANY CONTROL around, even it was there, but I WAS SURE all the time that I am safe . ALL people smiled, talking, huging and the event was working smooth safe PERFECT. If in the last weak I proposed a horse instructor to be hired.., today I have on my notes a church events planner, lol, you needed to be with me and to see how these people work togheter..... all like one and one like all... perfect like a perfect WHOLE. AND then I realized THE SECRET... people need LOVE, to fell compassion, heart love, to fell part of... one hand from the other helping hands...there, people hug one each other and i didn't fell the double faces at all ....if they made a huge event to work means that they know THE SECRET and they choosed right people. Laughing with them I asked if is not any school related with them church, or if them don't have any hospital related, I would like to know HOW IS POSSIBLE to be so PERFECT in this world imperfect? And they laugh..."come to one of our church's day and you will see, we let to come to us everyone and anyone and anyone is welcomed and blessed and loved, and our church is for all not just for ones"

Was a strange felling today...but was just how was.... it seems that this is the secret... love from your heart, that is all!

Line dancing was awesome like always... .....awesome people..... another perfect group... a little sensation that they will not accept me from the first like was to the church, I tried to explain myself... that I will don't mess with them too much, just to let me to be around and DANCE... just I LOVE LINE DANCING, I DANCED, and I fell that I fly again, dancing make me free... they don't know me, I don't know them...JUST PERFECT... and like all thinks that we touch with love.... they will grow-up, loooool, I love my sweet lovelies oldies ones... I paid two tickets and I plan to make my birthday there...to rent that space, with all the line dance group.....lol. Is not awesome a birthday party with people that you NEVER meet all your life, but you love how they dance....is AWESOME.

Be good love you.... is still flying dreaming to the last country line dancing song....... they are DAMN GOOD!

First lesson from line dancing.."keep you hands in your pocket babe" lool and "stay in middle of group, you will see all, don't be ashame... all of us at one moment we was there, lol... say hy to my gurl friend and look there is another gurl friend of mine, you are ok now???"....if one day i will be able to choose... first question will be... you like country line dancing???? You could not be bad if you dance line country dancing!

In dance like in work first that you need to know is the "STEPPS SHEET". You could come with passion and love for country danceline but a beginner need to have ALWAYS a stepp sheet, to fallow, one time, two time 1001 times until the steeps become second nature, then and only then he could improvise. ANy improvision without knowing PEREFECT the steeps, is just failure...You see so good are my instructors, lol.

We need steps sheet, that will not be changed from today to tommmorow...this is the dance this is are the steps sheet.

Now let's dance....with A RN...bless her heart.....an RN teaching country dance yupiiiii....I am sure that is a great nurse as she is a as dancer instructor and it is because is so logical, good for you gurl!

Where are Rocky Mountains???? LOL

At the Huck Finn bluegrass festival, held on Father's Day, they always have line dancing instruction!
It's held on a wooden stage, so the stomping and steps are amplified!
People always look like they're having a good time doing the line dancing!

Glad you had such a good time, zuzi!

We've only had a few trick-or-treaters and as it's almost 11pm, I don't anticipate any more tonight.
My friend S stopped by for a chat, hadn't seen her in awhile.
She brought pumpkin bread (yummy, with cinnamon chips in it!), I fed her the Five Flavor Pound Cake.
We've been friends X30 yr or so, were pregnant together (her first, my second), and our kids were born within 3 weeks of each other.
Good times.

Dh is watching Young Frankenstein.
I may have to watch w/him!

I love NaNoWriMo--I even managed to finish once in 2001 My record is 1 for 7. Good luck with it!

I wanted to do it this year, but with this 6 week class I'm in plus PALS coming up this month, I think it'd be asking for trouble.

Thanks! I've managed to tell a few of my co-workers and the strange looks I'm getting are almost worth it altogether. I'm hoping I can just keep up with it, maybe writing 500 words every so often when I get a chance at work.
