Morning everyone!

My husband and son are at a men's fellowship breakfast at the church which started at 0830. I'm headed out to the gym.

Aky - nice to hear from you

Big K - I'll have to ask my dh husband what that is because even this logger's wife has no idea.

Joe - Happy Birthday.

jnette - dog kisses . ... blech.

Di - careful with that skedaddle . . don't trip!

sirI - love your colorful posts! Don't be a stranger.

Tweety - I wish we had access to a CSA here . . . we are too far up the mountain for that.

Hey netters! Quit all that yellin will ya?! A woman here has insomnia and is trying to get sleepy again so she can go back to bed! It is afterall .... 0300 SUNDAY here!

G'day everyone .... nice to *see* you all.

(((((AKY))))) glad you're keeping busy and that the grief counselling group is proving helpful. I hope you do enjoy the thanksgiving with your family.

Have a nice birthday gathering, Joe.

Kolohe ... the waratah is the New South Wales state floral emblem.

Later today I'm attending an afternoon "high" tea at which the state governor will be the special guest. I've met him before, he's a former navy man [DH was also navy] and his son and our DS were at the naval college together [when DS was still in the navy. He's army now!] The house where the function is being held is a national trust house now, open to the public, but it was my great auntys home and she lived there until her death. She was marrried to a former state premier, back in the 1800's. The committee invited us to attend this "high" tea, so not being one to pass up a free feed and cuppa .... I'm going! lol
I'll have to rummage through the wardrobe and try to find something acceptable to wear! Wonder if I should polish the tiara??!!! LOL Yeah, right!

Might go and make a cuppa and see if that'll help me get sleepy again. A herbal tea might work.

Hope you all enjoy your saturday!

get back to bed, Gracie !!! How are we to talk about you if you peep in here at all hours?

j/k, dear friend.

Steph.. now you KNOW those little pups of yours give you sweet kisses and you love it ! Sure ya do!

AKA (((gentle hugs to you))) Know that grief itself is a medicine. Tough to swallow and often bitter.. but necessary. In time (so I'm told) it becomes more bittersweet than bitter. Thinking of you during this time....

Am sipping on some Chai tea, hopefully that'll help me get sleepy again!
I'll finish it up and go back and try to drift off again.
This is what I get for going to bed too early!
Still ... what's a girl to do if'n she's tired?!
Oh well ... at least I'll not have to worry about taking a bag with me this afternoon to the function .... I'll have TWO under my eyes! LOL

Wow Grace - I'd love to go to high tea with you and see that house! I love history. Hope you get some sleep - I did the same thing night before last. Early bedtime and woke up later unable to fall back to sleep.

jnette - those pups do climb on me . .. but no kisses. You know what I'm gonna say . . .they just licked their butts!!!

hahaha... you're funny.

Odd, but that never enters my mind.. nor does it bother me. I guess to me our dogs and cats are just "family".

Grace.. do get some sound sleep, now ! You don't want to be nodding off at this afternoon's high tea! How rude would THAT be?
