And my husband simply MUST remove the "chaw" from under his lip and brush his teeth before I kiss him.

Tweety's post got me into the yard for the last tomatoes.
Pitiful looking plants in November:

But I havent had fried green ones this year. Can't overeat with just these little ones:

Are folks "down under" getting fresh tomatoes and other veggies now?

Hahaha!
we just learned that song, "Home Grown Tomatoes" this summer at a jam/campout!
Cute song!! Thanks for the reminder!

Dh is at the tire store w/the car, as we noticed a FLAT tire!
Hopefully they'll be done soon, so we can grab the microphones and head to the studio by 1:30.
Dress for the shoot is all black, with either a red scarf or a red silk flower or some sort of red frou-frou (red ties for the men).
Enjoyed practice last night, the songs came together well.
We're not doing as much strumming and rhythm stuff, as gentler picking styles, for most of the Christmas songs. Fits better.
We have three guitars, three mandolins (one is an octave mandola), a fiddle, a ukelele, a banjo (cello banjo or bluegrass banjo), a bass, a recorder and keyboard.
Also the five vocalists.

Grace, I hope you got back to sleep OK, and that you ENJOY your cuppa at the Fancy House Tea today!!
Thanks for the link to the Kingston House (aka "Fancy House," lol!), will look it up later when I have more time.

aky, I'm so glad the group sessions are helpful to you.
You certainly have a lot going on, there!
Thanks for checking in.

Hugs to Jnette, just cuz.

It's nice out, about 70 degrees and clear skies.

See ya's later!

AKA, great to hear from you and glad you are "hanging in there"....

And Grace, can't wait to hear every detail about your high tea!

I'm trying to stay positive about my "situation" but have my moments....

Hope the Sunday paper will be LOADED with jobs....

At any rate.... positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated and hope you all are having a good, peaceful weekend!

Di - you'll have to send me a cd of the Christmas music . . . I'm looking for some we can play at our Candle Lighting Ceremony for hospice . .

(Ick - red roses . . .. can't stand roses . . . isn't that odd?)

Well, I picked up a dark red pomegranate and a wad of paper towels and proceeded to eat the whole thing. Lovely messy and delicious!

Have fun, Di ! Sounds good !

Steph.. I don't like red roses, either. Give me wild flowers any day.

Siri... don't eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeven start with Christmas.. I'm still thinking it's suppose to be the last days of summer.

No plans for T'giving this year.. dd is going to her inlaws this time, so i don't have to cook.. yaaaaay !!! DH and I will go down the mtn. to eat instead. Adam is at Pati and Roo's this week for T'giving break.. just as he did last year.

Was thinking earlier about when to start dragging up the Christmas decorations from the basement.. always such a chore. :stone
But once I start, I get into it and enjoy it. Guess I'll wait 'til the weekend after next.

BP.. I hated to read about your situation.. what a bummer. I do hope you will be able to find something soon. (((hugs)))
