Good Morning!!! G'Day!

Happy Saturday. I'm finally coming back to life after a week of severe jet lag, fatigue, GI disturbances and maybe even a minor cold/virus. Was a hot mess.

I'm going to the gym this morning. The farming season has started in FL and I get to pick up a bounty from the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) that I'm a member of. They are delivering in St. Pete this year, so I don't have to drive to Tampa! Can't wait to see what they have. Lots of green leafies this time of year.

Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning Tweety!

Are you on indefinite vacation? Nice!

Enjoy those greens! Yummy.

It's a chilly, frosty 34 degrees here right now. Minnie has licked me with morning kisses until I just HAD to get up or there would have been nothing left of me. So now enjoying my first cuppa brew and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Minnie laid in front of the "fire" for awhile, now she has slinked off to my bed again.

Just the usual on my agenda for today..debating on whether to head over to dd's later today, as tomorrow is calling for sleet all day with the high only in the low 40's. Sleet... yuck.

So we''l see what today brings.. too early to make any decisions. my brain is still foggy.

GOOD MORNING, YA'LL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoying my loverly before I head out for the day...

Hiya, Tweety and netters. Hope you two have a most excellent Saturday.

Been awhile since I've been on the GM thread. Busy, busy and busy!!! Had a great time with my youngest this past month. Enjoyed football with the 5 y/o. They won their Super Bowl, too. Was a hoot and a half. Then, had my mom here for a couple days visiting. We really enjoyed each other.

Gonna have Thanksgiving with my mom and oldest daughter and her fam. Is the oldest grand daughter's BD on Tuesday. Then, get to have another TG dinner and traditional on Saturday after TG.......all with the youngest dd and her fam.

Anyhoo, hope you all and a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday next week surrounded by friends and family.

Love to you all.

IDK, jnette, are you sure that fog bank is going to lift? Maybe you're "socked in".......

I think Minnie is an extremely clever dog. She's figured out a way to get you out of bed so she can have it all to herself.

I've got some things I have to do at the shop. There's a dogbone off a danglehead I have to weld back together. (hehehehehehe........ that's payback to Sabby, Grace, & Bushie for using a language I only vaguely recognize. But google isn't going to help; it doesn't know Loggerese either. ) Actually, the part I have to work on came from your neighbors over in New Zealand. Ever hear of Waratah?

After I finish what needs done at the shop I think I'll go up to my son's and help him get started on his master bath remodel. He's got all next week off and he would like to complete it by the end of the week. He's not sure how to do it or where to start.

I'd better get moving. Hope you all have a good weekend.

I need a "re-bath", too, Kolohe !!! Wanna come down here next?

Enjoy your weekend. And your danglehead dogbone.

Good morning all,
Been busy and will continue that way. I am crocheting stuffed toys to give away @ Christmas to children in need of stuffed animals. it is a labor of love and very relaxing for me.

Tonight I am going out to dinner with my SIL. We have not had a chance to talk in months so this is a treat. I am leaving my dog with my son for this trip and am like any other nervous mother with a baby sitter. I know she will be better with son and family than waiting at my in-laws for me to come home but still know about her anxiety issues.

I have been attending a grief group and have found it to be helpful. I am doing more picking up grands from school and sports and in general keeping very busy.

We are all going to visit the northern part of the family for T'Day and weekend. I can't wait to see how my sister's puppy has grown since my last visit. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the family but know it will be another kind of chaos. I find that I need more times of less chaos than when I was younger so will plan to go for my walks while there just to get away from it at times.

I know I am very sporatic is my chats here but read most days. I just have so little to say and enjoy others comments more than participating some days.

I have no clue what Kolohe is fixing but it reminded me of a favorite story about my father. A neighbor came to see him looking for a left handed hame ( perhaps not the correct spelling). My father knew what he wanted and immediately got it for him. I now know what that is, hope I learn about the welding thing someday.

Have a wonderful weekend and a great T'Day if I don't write again soon.

Hi Kolohe jnette Tweety sirI!

Family coming over to celebrate the birthday. Still haven't decided where we're going for lunch.

Then it's off to work for my first shift on my own. I'm ready, just a little nervous.

Work again Sunday, then I'm off until Thanksgiving. Thankfully my cousin has a Thanksgiving lunch instead of a dinner so I won't miss anything.
