Well . .. I'm tired. Weird because I got so much sleep. But it is only 4 p.m. and I feel like sleeping.

Work was actually good because only my boss was there and we got a lot accomplished. No prayers needed Sabby which is good because I'm sure my message came after you left for work.

Thinking a bubble bath sounds good. Ate cheese and crackers for a snack and now some grapes - too full for dinner.
I'll give Danny the leftover tri-tip.

Tweety - I probably was thinking about the comments on your FB page.

later . . .

No no . ... he is safe here.

But Kolohe started this conversation so I'll let him finish it.

I'd be careful about the wife's cooking comments though - although my husband knows I think he is not a very adventurous cook. Boring actually.

Thanks for pointing that out to jnette..... now I'm going to have to think about being nicer to her. :thnkg:
OK, I thought about; and I'm still not going to be nice to her.

Well, I will say one thing nice. Your son is a very good looking young man!! (Is it OK to say that? I only ask because I'm pretty sure if I told Steph that her daughter was good looking I'd be in trouble..... )

My oldest boy was into the TMNT's too. I'd better send this before you go to bed. Goodnight all you Easties! Good morning/afternoon Grace! (I think it's just before noon, there, but since our time changed now I'm lost. )

Hmmm ... dunno 'bout him being safe! Mixing it with us lot ....

I'd probably strangle him if I was his DW! That or serve up chopped cardboard for dinner!

Oh, wait a minute ... that's what YOUR hubby serves isn't it??!!

Some of the best cooks are men, DH enjoys cooking and doesn't do a bad job of it either.
We alternate nights for cooking and sometimes he serves up a meal which puts me to shame! :imbar
Depending on what kind of "cooks mood" I'm in on the day, it's either a feast or a famine!

So come on Kolohe ... are you going to fess up to just who you really are? Nosey parkers want to know!

And I need to stop popping in here fooling around on the computer! I've got a deadline for things today!

I was just cleaning some spots off the hallway wall with sugar soap, and promptly spilled about a cupful of it on the cream carpet! Luckily I was able to respond quickly and minimise the damage, but still ... there's now a stain where there wasn't before! I'm thinking maybe it's time to remove the carpet and either polish the floorboards or have tiles laid. Talk about butter fingers! :selfbonk:

Some silly neighbor decided to set her burn pile on fire tonight - a gorgeous clear night with a huge full moon . . and now the entire town is full of smoke and my eyes are burning.

We love to gather around our burn pile and roast marshmallows but we usually wait until it rains!

Oh well - Danny and I took a short walk anyway after I voted - down to the river and back in the dark as it was dark by 5:30 p.m. Hate that about this time of year - getting dark so early.

I just started a fire - I get a splinter every time because I don't take time to put on my gloves. Moved the pups over closer to the woodstove as a window got broken over the washing machine and the wind is blowing in on them. They are so cute all snuggled up together on their bed.

My husband doesn't cook things like cardboard - he just cooks boring things. Same old, same old. Hamburgers. Sloppy Joes. His version of spaghetti (all hamburger meat, very little sauce). Do you see the common denominator here . . . . ? Hamburger.

jnette's son is very handsome - old fashioned movie star handsome - Chiseled good looks.

Well, I have to get old Dan ready for bed. Eight o'clock is almost here.
