Good mornin'!

CseMgr, prayers for you, and of course Cheer.

I just woke Kirsten up....going back to bed for a little more: .

Just GOVT planned for today.

I went and ate lunch with Kaylee yesterday....little girl in her class wanted me to come up there and look at her cut/sore in the corner of her mouth/lip "Because you're going to be a nurse". If my memory stands correctly, it's d/t a riboflavin deficiency, or just drooling. Then again, I bought a vitamin C lip balm before and it seemed to help it. lol I still get them every now and then. I asked her if she took vitamins every day, and she said yes. So, I just told her to tell her mom to keep vasoline on it. I'm sure she's getting plenty of vitamins if she takes a supplement every day. I'll ask Kaylee in a few days to see if it is still there, then I'll tell Kaylee to have her friend's mom call their Dr to ask what it is. I'm surprise she hasn't gone to the school nurse. I don't know enough to give advice. THIS IS WHY I NEED TO GET INTO NURSING SCHOOL.

OK...back to get a few more winks b/4 time for Kaylee to wake up...even though I'm almost wide awake, thanks to my little story above. hahaa

Y'all have a great day!

wow! 7:30 and i am only post #3?????
am i on the right site????

not much to report here...new job is wonderful; lots of fallout from old job which makes me realize how right i was to make the change....

I am furious at my nursing agency..they have decided to drop all pedi cases d/t reimbursement from medicaid :angryfire so i have been told to d/c my patients even though i do not feel that it should happen..i did offfer to trans some to another agency but they are reluctant to have a stranger come in ... just makes me sad that the almighty dollar wins again. thats what i get for working for a for profit company i suppose.

Cheer, Don . Leslie prayers to you; and Kat; for your son..sounds like he is grieving for his brother and cant get beyond that point... stay strong and continue to encourage the counseling, he may come around at some point.

prayers to all of those who need t hem that i havent mentioned..
hope everyone has a happy and productive day! mary

Goooooooooooood morning!!! Wakey, everyone! Its Friday, TGIF! What? Only page 1?

CseMgr, good luck to you on that interview today, dazzle 'em!

Good morning to you Fun...Ah, yes, advice dispensing...only one of many times to come :chuckle! Don't spend all day with that "G" stuff!

Hello Mary, so nice to hear you are enjoying your new job! Too bad about the agency and the peds cases...maybe something can be worked out with another agency!

Well time to think about getting moving...no time for breakfast, but here's some coffee until someone takes pity and whips something up! I know Siri is probably lurking somewhere waiting for coffee to appear! BBL..

Good Morning fellow allnurses! Happy Friday! Does anyone have a joke planned for April 1st? I don't, at least not yet.

I'm sorry Mary about what's going on with your agency. I can't imagine.

Good Luck today Csmgr1 !

Hoping you have a good day s and t. Hope you find your coffee.

Today I have 6 patients to see in HH. I have an appt with my doctor at 10:00, my follow-up for being on Byetta. I can't wait to hear what he's got to say about this 3 week plateau. I've really been good sticking to 1200 calories. 12 pounds down the first week, since then nothing.

Tomorrow my 5 mo old grandson is in a fashion show at Parisian's. I'm so excited! I'll take photo's. Have a good day all!

CseMgr, I am wishing you good luck on the interview today. Thanks for starting the GM thread.

Hi, Fun. After you get in nursing school and out, you will be asked to give advice all the time. Just remember the phrase used here, "the members of allnurses.com cannot give medical advice. Please contact your PCP"........you can substitute your own words here. It does get old and rather frightening at times what someone will ask of you.

Hello, jillyk. Sleep tight.

Hi, Dutchgirl. Long time no see. Been wondering 'bout ya. I keep up with you in your thread, but........you need to come in here more often. Congrats on the weight loss.

Hello, s and t. Thanks for the java joe. Need more. So, whatcha doin' today?

Hello, Mary. Sorry ya'll will not be doing pedi case. Sad, but I do understand the rationale behind the decision. If the entity is for profit, it makes sense.

Breakfast?

..sourcream and apple coffeecake

..pull apart coffeecake

..frenchtoast

..crepes

.....Full

TAKE YOUR PICK!!

O.K., more coffee and now.........

Good Morning!
My patients are both asleep after having labs drawn, bath, linen and IV tubing change.
Just waiting for day shift to arrive. One is already here with her Starbucks cup.
We have fresh Don Franciscos for them.
