DD dropped in after work and we caught up for a while, she's feeling much better today. DS phoned, he's going well and informed us he'll be home for Christmas!!!! As you can imagine, this Mummas is very glad on hearing that news!

I bought the ingredients to make Sabbys blackberry wine cake today, but do you think I can find some blackberrry wine anywhere???! I'll keep looking and surely there's got be some somewhere here! I wanted to make it tomorrow so we can indulge and enjoy before Dh sets off on his trip on tuesday. A little celebration of him finally getting to do something he's wanted to do for a long long time.

It's windy outside and strong enough to make the windows rattle! Hope it doesn't keep me awake!

I'd better go down to the breakfast nook and get my bowl of oatmeal and 3 minimuffins to start my day. (Of course they aren't "steel cut oats" so I'm sure Steph would turn her nose up at them. )

Morning here also....was a so busy crazy week that I missed yesterday thread and is not happen so often with me, lol.

Talk and talk to 1001 phones this week.... than I am even scared to respond to phones now......needed to listen 1001 time to be sure that what I hear is REAL, read 1001 time to be sure that what I read is what they want to say and analyzing 1001 times. before....... jeez what is happen with this world.......

I will give you an exemple: first - the information is sent distorssioned (by stupidity or by purpose, dosen't matter too much), asked for clarification and for additional information missed, verified by feedback twice, ask two times if is the complete information, positive feedback. Start the action. After half day you receive a phone, a sugesttion, a "new feedback", that "we need more" and "we changed first setups", "or is just better like that", jeeez these people know what they want or them mind works rumbling around, changing about how the wind bllow? We work with people dear IF you didn't know till now! They could change them minds......

Each endorsment to some one is a pain in the ass... EACH AND EVERYONE has the ideas about how the thinks need to be done and applied on their own style, "Zuzi style", "Missy style", "***** style" we are a "personalized style", lol.

I am at the point when "whatever you want to do is ok", and is the perfect response....to tired even to think to try to explain them what is the normal path to be........ whatever.... even "normality" has 10001 senses here , is not in my job description and whatever....."whatever you want to do and whatever decisions are made are OK!" We grow-up like that we will stay like that.... I need this job so ...."YES is just OK, is perfect!"

Good Morning all.
I haven't posted much in a long while. Now I am trying to navigate around oall of the changes the site has undergone. Wow.
Dd 8 is in the dining room having school. She is nearly done with her Math, then it is on to a little Science.
Ds had his big 5 year ol birthday on Monday. He informed me that he is pretty sure that he grew "nearly and inch" Sunday night. "Becuase 5 year olds are bigger than 4 year olds...."
Trying to get my house put back into order. October was a crazy, hectic month. We took a week long vacation to Fla. Came back to an aunt in ICU, with her passing, a funeral, then Halloween and a birthday. This was all over about 1 week. Not to mention I still had to work.
This week I have been just trying to play catch up.
Hope this sunny, windy day finds all well.

I like rolled oats too - as long as they still resemble oats and are not a bowl full of mush.

Good morning everyone - today it feels like one of those Spring days . . where you can feel the warmth in the breeze and it portends Summer . . .some clouds but the sun is shining through.

I was chatting on FB with my son's girlfriend's mom - she is very nice. A marathon runner too!

My goal is to get my chores finished so I don't have to do anything over the weekend - Danny has a friend coming over after school to play so maybe we can make cookies or something.

I haven't ironed anything except my curtains - which the pups peed on - and I had assumed they would come out of the dryer all nice and neat but NOOOOO . .. . thank goodness everything else comes out of the dryer ready to wear!

Blackberry wine . . hmmmm . . I haven't made that cake yet but maybe Trader Joes will have it - I'll have to look next time I go.

Yep, steph. A little tired here. Oh and I forgot to add we also had to have school through all of this.
Much to the littles dismay. I try to let little excessively deter schooling. It just isn't optional.

This workweek is done, just got in about 25 minutes ago, took Minnie for her run, and are now getting ready to head down the mtn. to Golden Corral... and I'm HUNGRY, so MOVE OVER people !!! Lovely, sunny afternoon, but quite chilly still. About 52 here.

Gotta be old fashioned rolled oats .. not the pre-cooked, pre-processed kind!

Babynureselsa.. good to see you !!! So sorry for the chaotic week you had. Wow. My condolenses also re your aunt. Hope things settle down for you now.
