G'Day folks!

Where is everyone? I'm still off and hope to go to the gym here in a few. Been about 2 weeks since I've been and I'll take it easy and ease myself in. Then maybe watch a movie. Have a churc covenent group meeting tonight. Nice sunny day today and may reach 80 degrees.

Good morning - I'm #4

Well, I'm off call at 0900 . . . had a complicated visit with a patient and some phone calls last night. He isn't ready to go and yet is ready to go. Angry. Depressed. Complicated.

I think I'll focus on finishing my re-arranging job I started last week when my back was bad. I'll have to say it hurt last night laying in bed and I got up at 0100 to take some meds and then turned the heating pad on. But it is way better.

Happy Tuesday Everyone. :flowersfo

Having some problems with the site . . . . like Halinja posted about in her thread that I cannot get to as it keeps saying "This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between searches. Please try again in 569 seconds."

So, posting here . . if it will let me.

Hope your back feels better steph.

Hi Tweety Di zuzi!

Hi everyone. Went straight to bed when I got home as I was pretty tired, but only slept for 4 hours and woke up with a headache and upset stomach. I'm hoping I'll feel better as the day progresses, as I usually do. At least now I've got time to do things before work.

One busy patient yesterday, but other than that it was fine. After tonight I'm off until Sat.

Might check on my dad's place later, as he's out of town again.

G'day everyone

It's wednesday here and I've been up since about 0400! Talk about a bout of the ol insomnia!
Oh well, may as well make use of the "off peak" period download time [0200 - midday] since I'm awake. The ISP's "shaped" my speeds - down to 64kbps! - in the "peak" period [midday - 0200] I should change ISP's .. but am too lazy! lol

We're on "Catastrophic" bushfire warning today! .....................
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/...-bushfire-day/

Soooo ......... I'll be on "duty" here at the house all day in preparation just in case. Fingers crossed and prayers requested please that all will be ok. If I go AWOL you'll know I've grabbed the boys and done a runner. Everything's in place, so I'm sure we'll be ok. Those pine trees in the front and back yards are a worry though. It's more the rural areas at greater risk. We're in the foothills and are surrounded by trees, shrubs, grasses etc, so it's not a good mix. The reality of living in a sunburnt country! Wouldn't swap it for quids!

I see we have a new mate joined us ... TamiLee, WELCOME! :flowersfo

My brother's in hospital, having surgery today. GB removal and hernia repair. Was hoping to visit him later today, but will play that by ear. See how things go here with the fire danger, heat etc.

Young Jessica's making great headway .......................
http://www.jessicawatson.com.au/

What a great Aussie she is! I hope she succeeds. I read her blog and follow her progress every day.

And what about our amazing surgeons, nurses, and the whole team! ............
http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/...separate-beds/

spent time yesterday in prayer for the twins and the team. So far, so good.

Well, this is "it" from me for now!

Enjoy your wednesday once you reach it!

Cheers! ...................

Grace.. haha.. never even thought of the play on words "byoteds".. I've always been a bit slow though, so no surprise there. Pretty clever!

Wow.. I do hope you remain out of the fire zone. Very disconcerting. :uh-oh21:

Way to go, Jessica! hmmmmm.. I do like that name.

Way to go docs and team !!! Bless their little hearts. I couldn't imagine....

Yep, you've got some fine peeps Down Under, for sure !!! :icon_hugs:

Stpeh.. glad to hear the back is finally behaving. Now don't go chopping a mess of wood yet, hear? Sheeesh. Sorry about your patient last noc. Makes me sad to read of the conflict.

Tweety..sounds like you had a NICE, easy day planned. A real "ahhhhh" day. Good for you !

Hi Zuzi ! Hi Di !
