Turdsday 19th November

by Sabby_NC Premium Member

Ok Good Morning but where is everyone?

I am running late this morning so I thought there would already be a GM thread for today. LOL

Had to get some stuff organized for da man (I am SO good to him)

Not much on my plate today other than two visits, a compliance meeting then team this arvo.

Hope you all have a MOST excellent day.

Good Morning, Everyone

Am just coming in this morning to say "Good-bye". I've been busy jumping through hoops trying to get my scholarship for LPN school and then found out Monday that WIA is out of money, so there went my scholarship and I won't be going to LPN school in January.

It was a bit of a shock!!! but I'm doing OK. When the Lord shuts a door, He opens a window and now I can concentrate on my Mary Kay business. In looking at the whole situation, I guess I was getting a little stressed thinking about going back to school at my age because now I feel like a huge load has been taken off my shoulders.

I've enjoyed knowing you all and I pray you have a blessed life.

Love,
Anna

Anna, I'm so sorry. Please stick around the forums anyway and know that you will be welcomed here always with open arms whether you go to school soon or not. Don't say goodbye. You're among friends here.

Good Morning!!! I should be tired since I only slept 6 hours, but I'm not. I feel like I'm coming down with something because I feel less than my usual robust self. I think it's just a slight cold....but of course my mind runs wild thinking "hmm....I was just in India, what are the symptoms of Malaria?" LOL.......I've vowed not to Google it.

Anyway, I'm going to continue to take it easy, and do a light workout at the gym and watch a movie. I'm trying to catch up on the dozen movies I've DVR'd from HBO/Cinemax/Showtime. I pay for the service, may as well use it.

Good morning! More coffee . . .

Just gotta answer this from yesterday:

"Did you learn that it is only the females that you have to watch out for because they are the only ones that bite? (hhmmmmmmm..... Nope; I'm going to pass on that one. )"

Well, as a matter of fact my husband did tell me that yesterday but guess what? I already knew it!

Anna - as Tweety said, no reason to say goodbye. I hope your MK business takes off for you!

Sabby - new patient this morning. . .we have 4 now!

Tweety - loved those photos of the beach yesterday. I do miss the ocean . . any ocean.

My husband is on his way to the big city to take his test about mosquito abatement. It starts at 09. Then he is meeting our son and his girlfriend, who we've never met. They are already talking marriage . . so he will probably beat his older brother to marriage. :chuckle

Off to take the little guy to school. Have a great Thursday. :flowersfo

Sorry the LPN didn't work out Anna. But you're right, it is a weight off your shoulders.

Hi Sabby Tweety zuzi steph!

Up late today...funny, I'm rarely able to sleep in late but this time I did. Also slept a solid 5 hours between shifts without waking up, another first for me. Hopefully this means I'm adjusting to nights.

Last two shifts unusually busy, although I did manage to get caught up at the end mostly (still left a bit late). It's the end of orientation for me, starting Saturday I'm on my own. Which will be good, I can get my own routine.

Nothing much these next two day except for cleaning. Have family coming by Saturday so I have to get the place in order. Also have to get groceries.

Been pretty rainy here lately, hoping it will clear up.

TURDsday.....Was that a typo or what? But it suits today. Yesterday I was sent home from work at 10:00 am by our administrator who thought I should have sent a pt. out. I told her I stood by my documentation and consultation w/ NP and family. Is a DNR but we started her on IV fluids through a Mediport. I was astounded! This all came up during our mgrs mtg yesterday am. Sooo, today the DON called and told me to stay haome again today. That the admin was still "upset". What kind of ******** is this???Why can't the admin talk to ME????

Ther are NO jobs in the paper and I am 54 years old with me and my 85 year old mother to support. Good chance I will be fired tomorrow so prayers would be appreciated.....

Gentle hugs to you BP- No I was being silly when I wrote Thursday.
I am shocked too that they are doing this after you had consulted with the family. Their wishes were being followed and that is all that counts eh?
Sending prayers up for you, please let it go a little and hand it over.
