I don't even wait to see if hubby followed my list anymore...a couple years ago I just started buying my own stuff and wrapping it with "from" him - that way I don't get stuck with useless trinkets. Not sure why he can't just follow my "wish list"?!?! Says stuff like "I wasn't sure what that was" - duh! I was pretty specific. Oh well...this year I bought myself a couple things "from him" and then asked for a day at the spa with my best friend - he looked so relieved!!

I tell my husband exactly what I want and while shopping at the stores, I pull him to the various departments and point to which items I want. I have to admit that I don't like to be too surprised. I don't peek, but get irate if he doesn't follow my list. Mainly, because he will spend buttloads of money.

My husband is the one who peeks. Can never surprise him....

I did, but it wasn't my fault!! We got postpaks from my mum the other day, and EVERY single year she has ALWAYS wrapped the gifts inside with pretty paper before she puts them in the paks, so I thought I'd rip them open & put the wrapped gifts under the tree with the others, & guess what?? This year, SHE DIDN'T WRAP THEM!!!

But I hid them & didn't tell the boys they had arrived, so at least they will be surprised....
