I too am intersted in the Texas Tech program. Do you have to have the traditional pre-req's (A&P I and II), or can you transfer the Excelsior credits?

    Thanks!

It's been a while since I've been on the site. Congrats on passing the CPNE. All the hard work paid off.

You made a statement about the cost of test out programs. I would love to know the books you used and any tips for cost reduction. I was seeing the cost at around 20k using the chancellor/EC method.

Thanks for the information about Excelsior College. It's nice to speak with someone who has personal experience with the college. Selecting a good program can be difficult however I've heard great things about Excelsior and I only hope one day IL will allow graduated to become licensed upon graduation instead of working 2 years in another state as an RN. Thanks again.

I failed out of algebra several times before passing. I went to take the clep and found it to be over just general algebra. No tricks pretty straight forward. I say get the clep book and review it then take the darn thing...I got my book at the half price book store...which programs are you looking into applying to?
