Blagojevich Indicted on Corruption charges

I can relate to Honest and Serious, I'm just on the other side of the fence. I was SO frustrated with the incompetence of the Bush administration I've made similar comments.

But things do change. The end of my nightmare happens to be the beginning of hers (his?). Just 7 years, 9 months to go the way things are. Maybe more.

I can relate.

Ahhh, but there is a difference.

The Bush administration was A) actually incompetent and B) was given a LOT of time before people really got out the pitchforks.

Our 'Chicago Politician' doesn't qualify in either regard.

Blagojevich though does deserve the pitchfork!

We were kids. It took us a while.
I have sisters smarter than I am but I figured it out first because I was oldest.

I have an in-law who is quite versed in Chicago politics.

She said, "We don't elect many Republicans. We have enough trouble trying to figure out who is the currupted Democrat. We got some good ones too. And some just a little currupt.
To get elected to a city our county position from Alderman on up you gotta play along.

Don't count on it.

The dems should've won a lot more of the popular vote than what they did, especially after starting the campaign two years in advance and campaigning against a weak candidate like McCain. For that reason, I will be surprised if Obama can win a second term.
