If I am wrong here, someone please correct me, but when Billary ran the country in the 90's, didn't she make the comment that "nurses were nothing more than Doctor's hand-maids and shouldn't make more than $10 an hour"?

That's a good question. I never thought more of Hillary other than the first lady. After all she was, and probably stepped up to many plates during her husband's 2 terms of Presidency. What wife would'nt ordinarily? Just in everyday life that is. And throughout those 8 years I beleive things were mistakingly expressed and just like any other human, we learn at times we were incorrect and thus change our views. I don't see a problem with an open mind.

I'd be very interested in your research to answer your own question.

Have a great day!

If you think politicians or the government are an answer to what is wrong with health care in the US, then you have my deepest sympathy.

I never said vote for a Republican . . my belief is that you vote for the person who holds the values closest to your own. That may be Democrat. Or Libertarian. Or Green.

There are liberal Republicans . . .I vote for the conservative person.

No politician is going to mirror all our beliefs though. You just have to get close enough.

I used to be a Democrat and very liberal when I was young. As I started living in the real world, for me, conservatism made more sense.

I have to say you sound like my husband though - he gets very frustrated by liberals and thinks voting for liberal issues is irresponsible.

Generalization in my Webster states: A principle, statement or idea having general application. I take that as this is a forum that has generalized posts pertaining to an idea.

I'm talking about making blanket statements and lumping all members of a group into a stereotypical category.........such as "voting for a Republican is irresponsible". People are made up of many, many factors, and you can't slap a label on 'em and call it good. That's what I meant by generalizations.
