Harvard Medical Dean gives Obamacare a "F" grade

I believe the current legislation should be scrapped and the process started over with a BIPARTISAN plan. Having one legislator of the minority party vote for the bill does make the process bipartisan.

Lets include caps on medical malpractice claims, interstate insurance exchanges and outcomes data in planning true healthcare reform. Nobody in Congress or the White House should be proud of the legislation being forced down the American taxpayer's throat. In it's current form....it won't work.

Bipartisan? gosh, what a great idea! Do you know of any legislators willing to play? All I've seen are those who want their side to win and they are willing to sink to any low to achieve it. (hint: think "death panels")

When the Dems have the numbers to vote anything or everything in, to say the others aren't willing to play seems, well, just another excuse for it being a really bad bill to me. Luckily, some of the Dems also see this and aren't willing to play, or maybe they are rightfully afraid of what will happen when the voters go to the polls next year. In any case, from the beginning of this new Administration, they have had the number. Please do not blame the conservatives who disagree, because in the end, it doesn't matter if they do. They cannot out vote the Dems; if the Dems vote as a block.

That is a very tired excuse for what's going on, IMHO.

Who said I was blaming conservatives? In order to be bi-partisan, it takes both sides to agree I thought I was making it clear that each side was only out to win. I used the death panels as an example of how low one side was willing to go to score for their team but I was not making excuses for anyone.

I think, and hope, the electorate is smarter than that.
