Actually, I should've also included the right wing talking heads/spinmeisters. People will remember them, too.
My post was in response to OP's premise:
That the American public has grown frustrated by the excessively drawn out reform debate process, simply in terms of how looooooong it's taking (8 months+????), as in their view it is happening to the general exclusion of other critical issues and that somehow this 'anger' will be laid squarely at the feet of Dems come 2010.
I disagree with the conclusion.
No matter the final vote, if anything, most will remember how things were proceeding at a reasonable(for congress, anyway) pace and at least w/some attempts @ bipartisanship until the spectacles of Death Panels, too TALL bills, et.al began back in mid-summer and have seemingly only continued since.
This thing ran off the rails way back when and, IMHO, all those time wasters will be what is remembered and resented.
off topic --there is some validity to your point. Though personally I'm much more apt to admire active compromise over unified obstruction but, as always, that's just the way I roll....
