HR 3962 Has Passed the House.

by GCTMT

Pelosi's bill has passed.

I just watched it pass on C-Span. It was pure jubilation amongst the Dems. in the house.

Default Night to remember health care bill
I will remember this night, for the rest of my life. You, will too. My heart hurts for every American, particularly the children.

I have to call my doctor, while I still can choose one myself, because this makes me ill.

Don't let it make you ill for long . . it won't pass in the Senate.

I feel like saying what a bunch of "dingbats" . . .but I'll refrain.

The 220-215 vote marks the first such victory in decades of efforts to expand insurance coverage. The bill wins a lone GOP vote and loses many Democrats, pointing to challenges awaiting in the Senate.

source embedded....

Frankly the bill didn't go far enough with the public option but at least we are going to close the gap by 30 million Americans in the next 4 years.

Its going to pass the Senate through reconciliation......It will probably be signed on Christmas day as a symbolic present to all Americans. We are finally recognizing health care as both a civil and human right.

One republican acted on behalf of his constituents rather than for corporatists. This is officially a bipartisan act on behalf of the American people who Members of Congress are supposed to serve.
