I'd still do it! It was cute. And effective. To me.

Is this using kids too? Just curious. (It is pretty cute - even though I think the kids have been misled).

yes, that is exploitation.

i didn't think the "poor maddie" was exploitative at all.
but it was totally non-sensical.

They are both exploitative. Children win votes and change minds. It's cheap.

Well, they are the children of the WWF folks. (Wasn't it cute though?)

And it does exploit the adorable nature of children to make a point.

I wouldn't outlaw it . . . but, it does bother me a bit when our 8 year spouts off things he has heard mommy and daddy say.

We've had to have a talk with him about private family stuff that doesn't get repeated in public and this is more than politics folks!

I agree, using kids to score any political point is exploitative at best.

My son repeats all kinds of stuff too. That's what we get for having blabbermouths for kids, Steph. Political stuff and otherwise.

"Mommy, some jokes are only jokes for home, right? Like armpit jokes."

I think I told this one (gotta type fast as I pick up Danny is 5 minutes) . . . . we helped a couple last winter who had been in a car accident. They later sent presents - mine was a pair of earrings. I was telling this story to my co-worker and Danny was with me and when I got to the earrings part Danny piped up with something like "But she didn't like them".

sigh . . .
