Can someone please tell Pelosi to lay off the caffiene. I was laughing so hard everytime she stood up and sat down, stood up, sat down.

Question: Did Louisiana have the financial means to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Either way, why are we making such a big deal about a state in our country receiving government assistance when the government also gave millions of dollars to Sri Lanka or whatever country it was that got slammed with the tsunmai back in 2004? Our government should provide assistance to any state that suffered any type of disaster.

Yeah- her grin was kind of creepy, too. I can't help it. Pelosi creeps me out.

It's the botox. She looks expressionless sometimes.

I think it was prerecorded. How are you gonna pre-record a response to a speech you haven't heard yet. It didn't make any sense to do that.

And while we are on it, can someone PLEASE bring Joe Biden up to speed on our modern technology. Asking for a phone number for a website, I almost shot diet coke out of my nose.

I'm mentioning the millions of dollars in government aid received by Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina, only because Jindal was hinting last night that minimal government interference would have been less of a hindrance during that particular national disaster.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's weirded out by Nancy Pelosi. She's just a little too....something. Je ne sais quois. (Forgive my French if it's been butchered....it's not a language I speak!)

I've never liked her. She reminds me of Joan Rivers without the sense of humor.

Tardive dyskinesia, maybe? :chuckle

ETA: I wonder what someone with TD, and who has received Botox would look like?

I was a little disappointed in this line.

"I’m proud that we passed the recovery plan free of earmarks......."

I think that is grasping to say that there were no earmarks in the bill.
