A trip back in time to a Rod Stewart concert with a bunch of unintoxicated friends dancing in the aisles.

ok see ya folks later. I am watching my son Blake put on a full compliment of makeup. He's done the lipstick, eyeshadow, and now blush. He is really good at it. I hope he lets me take it off for the planned trip to the store. He look just like JonBenet in boy!

Yanni, now that's someone who looks scary. I get a little weirded out by the mustache and the long hair. Just doesn't look right on him.

My youngest son (7) got that treatment from his big sis (19) . .. . when he was about 3 she put full makeup on him and still has a photo to blackmail him with when he becomes a teen.

DH always flips out when ds asks for a bit of powder while I'm putting on my makeup. I think he's afraid it'll 'turn' him or something.

My thought is if we DO make a big deal out of normal play acting - THEN kids might get a "complex" about it. Not "turn" them . . but make them ashamed of normal behavior.

THEN maybe they will sneak around and hide it - which will make it more desirable.

We parents CAN create a monster out of nothing, if we aren't careful.

I have to admit my husband isn't crazy about it BUT he is the one who let his daughter put little curlers in his hair and barrettes all over his head, playing hair stylist when she was a little girl.
