Didn't work here in Colorado either. I think it probably sounded a great idea to voters at the time though.

Colorado voters in effect repealed the statute in 2005.....It was the beginning of the end for the Norquistas....

I am a proud YES voter for I-1033 in Washington. In fact, I vote yes for each and every Eyman initiative that comes around. Sadly, the voters in WA get what they vote for, and that means every increasing property taxes. Mine are close to 10K each and every year. I want to retire, but until we are able to sell our current property, that won't happen.
