Farrah Dead at Age 62

by CseMgr1

I just read where Farrah Fawcett's two-year struggle with anal cancer ended this morning.

Well, God rest her soul. She fought it with everything she had.

I heard this not long ago Cse, so very sad but didn't she have breast cancer?
I am a wee bit confused now.

Nope - anal cancer.

Very sad and yes she did fight a hard fight. I think I read that she and Ryan O'Neal were married in the last few days.

Rest in peace.

You are right Steph I heard that just a while ago that he proposed to her on her death bed.
Such a wonderful story should come out of this tragedy.
They loved each other so much.
Thanks for correcting me. Not sure where I got the breast cancer from

You are right - I found articles about their plan to marry soon "as soon as she can say I do" . . . but I'll bet she was too sick at the end.

Regardless - he did stay by her side throughout her illness.

So interesting - in my local paper all the comments are from Boomer men who had that lovely poster of Farrah on their wall as teens. Very sweet really.

I did have the "Farrah" hairdo in my younger days - as did most young women. Too bad I didn't look like her.
