I'm a faithful Keith watcher. I'm one of the resident liberals here.

I'm quite liberal but Keith gets on my nerves.
I prefer Amy Goodman.

I'm liberal and most of the television pundits, liberal or conservative, get on my nerves, too.

I'm not familiar with Amy Goodman but I've always enjoyed the newspaper columnist Ellen Goodman. I like Leonard Pitts, too.

I'm not sure how I ended up in my particular family! Most of us range from John Birch Society conservative down to moderate Republicans. Then there's my cousin Mary and me. We're the token liberals. One of our best friends/neighbors thinks ALL Democrats should be lined up and shot. Funny thing is all three of their adult kids are <gasp> Democrats!! We were the lone Obama signs. Yep, signS.

Well, I suppose if I live long enough, that will be the title of mine as well.

I find FOX news channel very irritating no matter who is on. Just my two cents and I'm sticking to it. Big yawn here.

I find Bret Baier's show "Special Report" at 3 p.m. Pacific Time very interesting. He is just a nice and calm guy - no theatrics. And I love his roundtable with Charles Krauthammer and Juan Willams and others.

I don't like the over-the-top reporting on any channel . . . I can't really watch Glen Beck anymore. I've never really liked Bill O'Reilly but I love it when Laura Ingraham guest hosts and I love her radio show. Sean is a nice guy (love that he travels all over the country with his fund raising shows for our troops) but he is also too overly emotional.

Maybe it is just me though - there was a woman on Rush's show this week, who gave an eloquent speech of sorts and I agreed with her but the raw emotion and tears (not fake at all) . . .. bugged me. I'm a pretty private person for the most part . . .. . (yeah right . .I post on a nursing BB).

I'm full of contradictions I guess.

Funny title . ..

However, I really think it has more to do with our own personal perspective.

I shake my head at times with the slant of stories from the major news media . . .it is like they have NO idea what it is like to live in small town America. They make fun of hard working folks who are simply different - not better, not worse.

Just like those who are not on the conservative side (your author) might see things on Fox that makes him shake his head.
