The age has been upped over the years I've been a nurse. It's one of those things they don't tell you in nursing school, or medical school for that matter. Puts a whole new spin on reinstating "the draft" doesn't it?
Historically, I don't think this has been an issue. Wasn't it in WWII that when the President issued a call for for nurses to volunteer for the armed services, they actually got more respondents than they needed?
