Promises made, promises kept

I heard a top of the hours news report while coming home from the market where the Prez said to a group of gays and lesbians at the White House, "don't judge me by the promises I made, judge me by the promiises I keep."
WHAT?

I guess it's fine to make promises then not deliver. Free pass, Advance directly to Go and collect more tax money.

How ever will Robert Gibbs spin this one?

Yeah, that makes no sense. He didn't promise a lot to the LGBT community, though.

But he DID promise a lot of other stuff to a lot of other people, and in this day of technology, anything he says will be known to everybody.....

I'm still waiting to judge him by that promise for no new taxes, "not one thin dime."
