Pulling back from the abyss

by Man In Black Platinum Member

Basically, we started out with a year that matched the Great Depression, but have since pulled back a bit from the edge of the abyss.

really we have? tell that to the 10.2 percent unemployed ( the real rate is closer to 17 percent though) Tell that to the employees here in the US that work for GM, who just announced that part of the stimulus is going overseas to help the opel division. Last time I checked Opel did not sell their cars here in the US.

I'm glad to see that as the op says "we have pulled back a bit from the abyss", which is by no means a total recovery. But a little good news is nice.

Other countries are fairing a little bit better, which is why we should be mindful and respectful of them, so they can help bring us along.

There is that nagging unemployment rate, but it's still nice to hear a little good news, even if it isn't good news to the one in the unemployment line.
