Will California Become America's First Failed State?

I have to wonder how many of the rich and famous Hollywood types actually pay California taxes....it's not rocket science to have your legal home in another more tax friendly state, like Nevada...Of course that would make them hypocrites, but what else is new?

and it bothered me to read that some are gloating and mocking california's demise.

i propose we reduce the amt of foreign aid contributions, and start focusing on domestic aid.
no, certainly not an original idea, but one that needs to be enforced.

we need to start caring for our own!!

CBPP.org and epi.org have both made the same argument. 48/50 states are in an economic crisis. (California's problems are directly attributable to Prop 13.....)

You cannot spend money you do not have, and expect to maintain the lifestyle you want.

I think you bring up an excellent point. The rich evading taxes? Who'd a thunk it?

In the matter of the Hollywood types, that would be rich liberals evading taxes.

ah...maybe you're right.

we know that the hollywood libs, are the ONLY subsegment of the rich, that are notorious for tax evasion AND hypocrisy.
